  Dad passed away last month and myself and mam cannot thank Derwentside Funeral Services enough. They were very efficient and helped us at a sad time. Mark kept in touch until the collection of dads ashes. My son is autistic and wanted me to ask alot of questions to what Mark answered. Well done to you all I can't recommend you enough.

  Very sympathetic and professionally run company, with incredible attention to detail. They really did take care of everything at a very difficult time, and its hard to imagine what this company could have done that they didn't actually do.

  Liam and the team were very professional and respectful of our wishes for the funeral service of our Mum.Liam was empathatic but also efficient through a very sad time. We only have praise for how Liam conducted Mum's funeral . Thank you to everybody .

  Front start to finish this company have been uncaring and unprofessional. My mother died suddenly and the coroner was involved this firm went ahead and booked the funeral etc without say so from the coroner and didn't inform the family we basically had 24 hrs to make arrangements etc. On the day of the funeral they didn't send enough mourning coaches and family had to go in ordinary estate cars, they failed to stop at the house where she used to live as promised, at the crematorium they asked a family member if they knew where her plot was in our local cemetery so they knew where to put her flowers, I could list more mistakes. At a time of loss this firm should be there to ease your suffering these people made the whole thing unbearable and undignified.

  Absolutely fantastic,professional service from the outset. Made a very sad time more bearable. My Dad had an amazing send off. Liam,is such a lovely,caring young man,professional and kept us up to date at every stage of the arrangements.He is an absolute credit to the business. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Thankyou
